TMI Organizes Hight-Level Event to Launch Visit Maldives Year 2027

A High-Level Networking for the Maldives was recently organised by TMI Consultancy in the CIS region to announce the Visit Maldives Year 2027. Headed by the Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation (MOTCA), Dr. Abdulla Niyaz, who was accompanies by senior officials from Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), as well as a delegation of 17 partner private sector and governmental organisation, the events brought together senior government officials and representatives of the tourism and aviation sector. The aim was to provide valued members of the CIS travel trade a direct dialogue on how to proceed in 2027 with the promotion of the Maldives during this special year as well as celebrate the longstanding partnership with the Maldives.

Delivering the opening remarks, the Honourable State Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Dr. Abdulla Niyaz, reflected on the special relationship between the Maldives and the CIS, built on strong people-to-people connections and a longstanding tourism partnership. He formally invited attendees to join the Maldives in celebrating «Visit Maldives Year 2027» and reiterated the importance the Maldives places on the CIS market as one of its most valued sources of tourism.
